- Equipment Marketplace (Lifts and Golf Carts) – Batteries are typically in series and batteries provide 100% of the power required by these systems. - Motorcycles and Mopeds – This market is growing rapidly and needs a solution which is cost effective and reliable because people travel great distances for work and relaxation. - Automotive Retrofit Market – Because many vehicles have problems with battery discharge when lights or electronics are left on, this causes safety and cost issues for those experiencing these issue. Ameritech Energy has the solution for this marketplace.
Buses are used to transport people to and from many different locations. People traveling want to have air conditioning, reading lights and internet available when they are on the bus, whether the bus is running or not. This places great pressures on the batteries used in these buses and if batteries drain too far, buses cannot start, which is a very expensive and time consuming process.
- Engine Starting Batteries – Concern is on cranking amps to ensure buses can always start and passengers are not stranded.
- Batteries Running Accessories – When buses are parked with customers onboard, these passengers expect to be able to use their electronics and reading lights, etc.

Lifts and Golf Carts require batteries to run the equipment. Weak or not fully charged batteries cause problems and slow work productivity of the renters using the equipment. Because Lead Acid batteries can take up to 7 hours to recharge, golf carts are only good for one round of golf per day, as an example. Motorcycles and Mopeds require batteries for starting their engines and running their electronics. There is a clear trend for these products transitioning to electric over time.
