T5 and T8 LED Tubes, Refrigeration T8 LED Tubes and Fixture Modification Products

There are three types of Tubes provided:

  • Plug N Play – Integrated Driver – TYPE A
  • Direct Wire Dual Ended Series (Line, Neutral OPPOSITE END) – Integrated Driver – TYPE B
  • Direct Wire Single Ended Series (Line, Neutral SAME END) – Integrated Driver – TYPE B
  • External Driver Series – TYPE C

Fluorescent fixtures having T5 or T8 tubes use an external Ballast to function. Also when fluorescent lamps are placed on motion sensing, lifetime of the lamps is significantly impacted. Our recommendation is to by-pass the ballast and direct wire LED tubes. The reason is ballasts will fail over time, so using TYPE A Plug-N-Play tubes does not solve the ballast failure concern.

Fluorescent tubes contain Mercury, which is a hazardous material and are usually made from Glass. This creates a hazardous environment. The glass can break if dropped and can cut people’s hands. AmeriTech LED tubes DO NOT contain Mercury and are made from Aluminum and Poly, so they do not break when dropped.

T5 External Driver Tube Series

These Fluorescent T5 tubes measure 0.625 inch in diameter and produce high lumen output.

Our External Driver T5 LED Series tubes are designed to be long-lasting and durable.

These T5 LED tubes produce twice the lumen output of fluorescent and distribute light downward at 120, 140 or 180 degrees, instead of fluorescent 360 degrees. This enables lighting output to be directed downward, using only 50% of the wattage of Fluorescent.

  • Wide Voltage Operating Range (100V-277V, 347V and 480V).
  • 7W – 27W (980 to 4,050 lumen output).
  • External Non-Dimming or Dimming Driver supporting 0V-10V dimming.
  • Anti-Glare frosted poly lens.
  • 120, 140 or 180 degree beam angles available to provide excellent lighting uniformity.
  • External Driver sizing is determined by quantity of tubes times wattage to determine driver wattage required.
  • CCT available: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K.
  • All products qualify for utility rebates.
T5 Integrated Driver Tube Series

Horseshoe (U) T8 Integrated Driver LED Tube Series

These Fluorescent T8 tubes measure 1 inch in diameter and produce medium lumen output.

Our Integrated Driver T8 LED Series tubes can be installed as either Plug-N-Play or Direct Wired.

These T8 LED tubes produce twice the lumen output of fluorescent and distribute light downward at 120, 140 or 180 degrees, instead of fluorescent 360 degrees. This enables lighting output to be directed downward, using only 50% of the wattage of Fluorescent.

Refrigeration T8 Integrated Driver LED Tube Series

Refrigeration tunes which mount inside coolers or freezers to illuminate products and reduce heat inside the cases.

Our Refrigeration Integrated Driver T8 LED Tube Series are equipped with mounting brackets which enable products to be mounted into most coolers or freezers. Bright, Crisp and Low Power products to be improve visibility and significantly reduce heat in the cases.

  • Standard Voltage Operating Range (100V-277V).
  • 7W – 40W (980 to 6,100 lumen output).
  • Mounting brackets and Internal Driver with insulated power cord.
  • CLEAR poly lens provides excellent visibility.
  • Tube lengths available – 2 feet through 6 feet.
  • 140 or 180 degree beam angles available to provide excellent lighting uniformity.
  • Direct Wire installation only.
  • CCT available: 3000K, 4000K and 5000K.
  • All products qualify for utility rebates.

Fixture Modification Products (8 feet Fixture Retrofit kits)

8 feet fixtures can easily be modified using our Retrofit kits to convert 8 foot T12 and T8 lamps from 8 feet to 2 pcs of 4 feet. Also when retrofitting fixtures, tombstones often need to be replaced, purchasing at a hardware store is extremely expensive; whereas we provide them as affordable.

  • Convert 8 Foot Fixtures to accommodate two units of 4 foot tubes (1 tube, 2 tube or 4 tube)
  • Screws, wires and tombstones are provided.

Frames are adjustable in width to fit most common sizes.
